CallRex Computer Recording Architecture
CallRex Computer Recording™ is a full-featured desktop recording and monitoring software solution that integrates with CallRex Call Recording™ software. The software runs on standard Windows servers, and requires no proprietary hardware or complex installation.
The CallRex Computer Recording architecture consists of the following software components:

- CallRex Computer Recording Desktop Agents
CallRex Computer Recording Desktop Agents run on employees' computers to collect data which is periodically sent to the CallRex Computer Recording Server and to enable live monitoring. The desktop agents are installed and run in stealth mode, and do not interfere with employees' activities.
- CallRex Computer Recording Client
The Web-based CallRex client provides administrators and managers with the ability to assign access rights for supervisors; configure how computer activity will be recorded; and select which computers will be monitored and recorded. Authorized users, typically administrators and managers, can access the CallRex client using any Silverlight-compatible browser.
- CallRex Computer Recording Server
The CallRex Server stores information received from the desktop agents in a SQL database.
