Scalable Hosted Call Recording Solutions
CallRex Hosted™ is deployed in the service provider's facilities and interoperates with the hosted softswitch to receive audio and call control packets. CallRex Hosted is highly scalable to support multiple tenants and thousands of users within a single system.
CallRex Hosted utilizes port mirroring to copy every audio packet traversing the network to and from the hosted softswitch. CallRex Hosted reassembles the packets, then compresses and stores the recorded call for later retrieval.
Recorded calls may be stored temporarily on the CallRex Hosted server at the service provider site and then transferred to each tenant's permanent storage locations for search, retrieval, playback, export and archiving.
CallRex Hosted has two components: the CallRex Hosted Server and the CallRex Hosted Client.
- The CallRex Hosted Server coordinates all recording and monitoring and provides temporary storage of recorded calls. The Server also includes SQL database software, which is partitioned for each individual tenant.
- The web-based CallRex Hosted Client provides multiple levels of access for service provider system administrators as well as users at each individual tenant. Service provider administrators use the client to provision licenses and, if desired, configure and administer any tenant's settings. Tenants use the client to configure and administer their settings as well as access their recordings.
