The Configure section allows you to configure Users, Security, and Phone subsections. It also allows you to configure general settings and storage location in the General configuration subsection. You can also configure different services in the Services subsection.

Users
The Users subsection provides an overview of each profile of which the selected user is a member.

You can view a user's profile in the Users subsection. Additionally, you can add and edit the user profiles.
To view profiles associated with a user: Select a user name from the list in the Users subsection. The profiles associated to the user are selected.
To associate a profile with a user:
- Select a user name from the Users list.
- Select the name of the Profile that you want to associate with the user.
Example: in the above screenshot, Jessica Adams is not a member of the Phone profile. To associate Jessica Adams with the Phone profile, select the Phone option in teh Phone Profiles group box.
To record or monitor telephone conversation, you need to add the user with relevant user information. You can either add new users manually or by importing a CSV file.
To add new users:
- Select configure > Users in the navigation pane.
- Click add. the User Info dialog box opens. For information on adding user information, refer to the Add New User section of the manual.
- Click Save. The user information is saved.
After adding users, you can edit their details to assign them a different user name and password. Users who need to use the CallRex Client require a user name and password. Without the user name and password, a user cannot log on to the CallRex Client..
To edit user accounts:
- Select a user name from the Users list.
- Click Edit. The User Info dialog box opens.
- Edit the required fields.
- Click Save.

Deleting a user removes the user and all the data associated with the user from database.
To delete users:
- Select a user from the Users list.
- Click Delete. A confirmation message appears.
- Click Yes to delete the user. All the data associated with the user will be removed from the database.

Making a User Active or Inactive
You may have users who are not working for the company or licenses have not been assigned to them. Most companies do not want to delete such users because this would result in deleting all the recorded calls associated with that user. Making users inactive saves all the information associated with the user and allows you to hide their names so that you do not have to view inactive users. You can identify an inactive user by the (I) after the user's extension.
To make a user active:
- Select a user name from the Users list.
- Click Edit. the User Info dialog box opens.
- Select the User is Active check box to make the user active.
To make a user inactive:
- Select a user name from the Users list.
- Click Edit. the User Info dialog box opens.
- Clear the User is Active check box to make the user inactive.
Note: By default, inactive users are not shown in the Users list.
To view inactive users:

Click Show Inactive. The Users list displays the inactive and active users. You can identify an inactive users by the (i) after the user's extension.
Note: By default, new users are shown as active in the Users list.
