The Security subsection allows users with required rights to configure the security rights associated with each profile. By default, the Administrator profile has all the security rights assigned and it cannot be modified. The Profiles, Call Control, View, Reporting, Search, and Flag group boxes are grayed out when the Administrator profile is selected.

Viewing Security Profile Settings
You can view the rights assigned to a security profile.
To view security profile settings:
- Select Configure > Security in the navigation pane.
- Select the security profile name from the Security Profiles group box. The rights assigned to the selected security profile are displayed.

The Administrator profile has all rights, and the Profiles, Call Control, View, Reporting, Search, Flag, and Events group boxes are not available when you select Administrator as the security profile.
Creating a New Security Profile
You can create profiles for various roles such as administrator, agent, and manager. Specific rights can be assigned for recording and monitoring calls for each profile.
To add a new security profile:
- Select Configure > Security in the navigation pane.
- Click Add in the Security Profile
group box. The Add Security Profile dialog box opens.
- Enter the security profile name in the Profile Name field. The profile name can have a maximum of 20 characters.
- Click Save. The profile name is added to the Security
Profile.

- Select the security profile name and assign the required security permissions in the Profiles, View, Call Control, Search, and Flag group boxes. The Call Control group box is grayed out if Phone is not selected in the View group box. For more information, refer to the security definitision section within the Administrator's Manual.
- Add users to the security profile members list. For more information, refer to the Adding and Removing Users from Security Profile section of the Administrator's Manual.
Editing Security Profiles
To edit an existing security profile:
- Select Configure > Security in the navigation pane.
- Select the name of the security profile that you want to edit in the Security Profile group box. The configuration options for the profile are displayed.
- Click Edit to change the profile name. The Edit
Security Profile dialog box opens.
- Make the required changes in the Profile Name.
- Click Save to save the changes.
- Edit the security rights to update the configuration options.

Deleting a Security Profile
You can delete a security profile. By default, all of the members of the deleted profile become members of the Agent profile.
To delete a security profile:
- Select Configure > Security in the navigation pane.
- Select the name of the security profile that you want to delete
and click Delete. A confirmation message appears.
- Click Yes to delete the security profile.

Adding or Removing Users from a Security Profile
You can move users from the Non-Members list to the Members list for the security profile or from Members to Non-Members.
To add or remove users:
- Select Configure > Security in the navigation pane.
- Select a security profile in the Security Profiles group box.
- Select the users to be moved.
- Click the
button to move the users from the members
list to the Non-Members list, or click the
to move the users from the Non-Members list to the Members list.
